 When I only see their heads, I usually guess that they are seals, and I am usually wrong!

Little, feral frenemy

It wears a collar, but is the sort of cat that follows you around the yard, stalks you as you garden, rubs against your chair leg if you sit to be pet, but after two strokes it tries to claw your hands off.  (Today I wore heavy garden gloves, so its attack failed!)
