Amy Sherald:American Sublime at SFMoMA is a superb exhibit, and I'm so glad a local editor mentioned it on Bluesky. The scale of the work, the dones, the shadows, her treatment of fabric, her superb modeling of faces... She is just so impressive! I bought the book, and am eager to spend more time with her superb, modern work.
