It was gorgeous last weekend! I wanted to test settings on my infrared camera, and wasn't confident that the fog could resist Golden Gate Park, and so I headed east instead. The weather was glorious, and I was able to practice with my camera to interesting results.

China Basin Park
It was fenced off for nearly a year, but this space on the south side of McCovey Cove certainly has been transformed. (Also, the public bathroom is SUPERB.)

Mission Creek ends in McCovey Cove, which is famous for having baseball fans boating and floating for balls just outside of AT&T Park (formerly Pac Bell Park).
I walked along it on a gloriously sunny day with my parents, to escape the fog in my own neighborhood just a short streetcar ride across town. It was lovely to feel the sun!
